Summer High School Strength & Conditioning Program Starts Tuesday, June 20th

Who: High school students (must be at least starting HS in Fall of 2017) or recent grads (class of 2017)

Where: Joust Strength + Fitness, 3951 Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30-11:30am.

Start Date:

Session I: Tuesday, June 20th – Thursday, July 13th, 2017

Session II: Tuesday, July 18th – Thursday, August 10th, 2017

Price: $150 per session or $270 if signing up for both sessions

*25 athlete cap

Summer Middle School Strength & Conditioning Program Starts Monday, June 19th

Who: Middle school students (must be at least starting middle school in Fall of 2017)

Where: Joust Strength + Fitness, 3951 Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor.

When: Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am.

Start Date:

Session I – Monday, June 19th – Friday, July 14th, 2017

Session II– Monday, July 17th – Friday, August 11th, 2017

Price: $150 per session or $270 if signing up for both sessions

Sign-up for summer Strength & Conditioning Programs

Class Format

Class consists of 2 parts, the first being a strength program and the second a conditioning program. We will start every session with a dynamic warm-up and/or agility or speed work. Our athletes find that after a few months of attending class regularly they have increased strength, speed, and coordination. Athletes will set monthly goals based around S.M.A.R.T. principles (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time bound). We touch on basic nutritional recommendations but focus most of our time on their fitness. We pride ourselves on teaching safe movement and require our athletes to show proper technique before adding intensity. We also take into consideration that many of our athletes do play other sports. Our programming will push them physically and mentally, but will not break them down. Our class is safe and effective for young adults of all levels and fitness backgrounds.

Goals of Both Programs

•To provide an off season strength & conditioning program to local athletes or students looking to take their fitness to the next level.

•To ingrain in the athletes the importance of proper form and technique to prevent injury, which will lead to sustainable progress both inside and outside of the gym.

•To produce measurable results by the end of the summer in power, strength, speed, mobility, and endurance that will transfer over to the athletes respective sports, putting them ahead of their competition.

•To have fun!



The Joust Strength & Conditioning Programs are led by coaches Robert Oswald and Ryan McStockard. They bring a wealth of strength & conditioning and functional movement knowledge at the middle, high school, college and adult level.
