Weekly Rundown October 16-21

This week we will have our second Bring a Buddy Day of the month on Thursday, October 19th. Feel free to bring a friend or family member to any class that we offer on Thursday.

Welcome to our 6th and final week of our current 6 week goals Jousters!

This week we will max out our wall-sits at 60 seconds after every standard warm-up. We’ll also be re-testing our strength work with a max front squat on Monday and a max shoulder press on Wednesday. Our barbell clean skill work will come on Tuesday with a squat clean build, working up to our heaviest loads yet in preparation for our max re-test in the squat clean next Tuesday.

We’ll kick the week of WODs off with 5 rounds for time on Monday of hang power snatches, ring push-ups and running. Tuesday we’ll tackle 3 different AMRAP 4’s with an EMOM twist. Wednesday will be a challenging EMOM 20 involving rope climbs and other functional fitness. Our Bring a Buddy workout on Thursday will be 3 AMRAP 5’s followed by plenty of mobility work. We’ll wrap the week up with a countdown WOD involving double-unders and thrusters. Saturday will be a “Pet Rock” workout with a partner.
