Weekly Rundown November 6-11

This week we will have our first Bring a Buddy Day of the month on Thursday, November 9th. Feel free to bring a friend or family member to any class that we offer on Thursday.

Please have your friends/family email [email protected] before attending class.

We will also have our Beer for Boobs and Mobility night on Friday, November 10th from 7:30-8:30pm.

Feel free to join us if you want some great homemade beer mixed with some mobility. Friends and family members are welcome!

This week we’ll be diving in to week #2 of our current 6 week goals cycle. Our post warm-up single leg wall-sits will bump up to 9 seconds each leg this week. We’ll tackle our strength work on Monday with shoulder presses and Tuesday with back squats. Our pull-up progression will once again be on Monday and Friday this week, with a slight increase in repetitions from last week. We’ll work on our hip mobility and a deeper squat depth required for pistols on Wednesday with an EMOM involving deck squats.

This week of WODs will start with 5 rounds for time on Monday of renegade rows + push-ups, dumbbell hang power cleans and double-unders. Tuesday we’ll conquer “Tabata Something Different”. Wednesday will be two EMOM 5’s with some cardio also involved. Our Bring a Buddy Day WOD on Thursday will be an AMRAP 16 of mountain climbers, lunges, ball slams and calories on the rower/bike. We’ll wrap the week up with 3 AMRAP 6’s of clean and jerks, burpee box jumps and toes to bar on Friday and rounds of “Mary” mixed with some cardiorespiratory activity on Saturday.

Have a triumphantly awesome week of training and moving closer to pull-up and pistol excellence!
